Dr. Damara Gutnick is a change agent passionate about providing high-quality, person-centered care delivered in a way that addresses what matters most to each person. As one of the co-creators of the BRAID model, and a Senior Director in the Montefiore Office of Community and Population Health, Dr. Gutnick recognizes that community trust needs to be earned and nurtured over time. She is committed to building infrastructure to support ongoing community input and coproduction of action-oriented health equity programs and research with the Bronx community. Dr. Gutnick is also a Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and an international champion of the “What Matters to You” Movement.
